NO Electricity On Tuesday In Parts of Barataria, St. Ann’s, St. Augustine, Arouca/D'Abadie, North Oropouche/Matura, Cunupia

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Barataria, St. Ann’s, St. Augustine, Arouca/D'Abadie, North Oropouche/Matura and Cunupia on Tuesday (9th December, 2025). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Barataria, St. Ann’s, St. Augustine, Arouca/D'Abadie, North Oropouche/Matura and Cunupia are as follows: 

BARATARIA (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM)

• From LP #79 on corner of 3rd Avenue and 5th Street to LP #82 on 6th Street.

ST. ANN'S (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

• Along Lady Chancellor Road between Queen’s Park Savannah and pole #7, including Alicia Palace and the Lookout.
• Note: Terracita Drive will not be affected.

ST. AUGUSTINE (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

• From LP #48 on corner of Evans Street and Watts Street, heading East along Watts Street to LP #6, inclusive of Bedessie Street and LP #47 to LP #50 along Dookiesingh Street.

AROUCA/D'ABADIE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

• From LP #454 to LP #541 on the Eastern Main Road heading East, including Bennysingh Street, Kingston Street, LP #88 to LP #B89 Trincity Central Road, Henry Street, Lower Railway Road, Railway Road, Timothy Street, Francis Street, LP #1 to LP #6G Old Road, Back Street, NP Gas Station, KFC, Arouca Community Centre, Convent Street, Waterloo Road, Arouca Anglican Primary School, St. Finbar's Girls RC Primary School, Davis Street, Walter Lane, Rocke Street, Sunshine Nursery and Preschool, Ramcharan Street, LP #50 to LP #79 Arima Old Road, Whitti's Grocery, Bacaday Road, WASA, Intex Glass and Aluminum Products, Piarco Old Road, Soleil Lane and Eaton Drive.

NORTH OROPOUCHE/MATURA (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM)

• Along Valencia Main Road, North Oropouche from North Oropouche Substation heading East unto Toco Main Road, Matura and then heading North up to Carib Glass Works Factory, Matura, inclusive of all associated side streets.

CUNUPIA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

• Rangoo Road from corner of Warren Road and Rangoo Road heading North to pole #10, Ramkissoon Trace and all associated side streets.
