NO Electricity On Wednesday In Parts of Maraval, Sangre Grande, Guaico, Longdenville, Edinburgh, Claxton Bay, Penal

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Maraval, Sangre Grande, Guaico, Longdenville, Edinburgh, Claxton Bay and Penal on Wednesday (10th December, 2025). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Maraval, Sangre Grande, Guaico, Longdenville, Edinburgh, Claxton Bay and Penal are as follows: 

MARAVAL (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

• North of pole # 56 Cameron Road and all of Cameron Hill up to pole # 25.

SANGRE GRANDE (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM)

• All customers from LP #7 on Toco Main Road at Lucana Drive to LP #136 on Toco Main Road, inclusive of Quash Trace Extension, Lotus Gardens, Phillipville Road, El Reposo Road, Reid Lane, La Seiva Extension, Vega De Oropouche, Rampersad Trace, Sahadeen Trace, North Oropouche R.C. School, Vega De Oropouche ECCE and all associated side streets.

GUAICO (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

• All customers from LP #184 on Guaico Tamana Road heading South, including Tiffon Trace, LP #1 to LP #35 Balata Hill and all associated side streets, Guaico.

LONGDENVILLE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

• Mercline Drive from corner of Ragoonanan Road and Mercline Drive heading North to corner of Pen Terrace and Mercline Drive and all associated side streets, inclusive of Climaco Drive, Shamad Ali Drive and Sunset Drive.

EDINBURGH (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

• Carr Trace from corner of Caparo Valley Brasso Road and Carr Trace heading East to corner of Rostant Road and Carr Trace, Rostant Road from corner of Rostant Road and Carr Trace heading East to pole #109, Garrmamoral Road from corner of Carr Trace and Garrmamoral Road heading East to pole #22 and all associated side streets.

CLAXTON BAY (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM)

• From LP #176 on corner of Cedar Hill Road and Foress Park Trace heading South up to LP #74 on Light Bourne Road and all associated streets, inclusive of Allarack Trace and Hermitage Road up to LP #391, Caratal Tortuga Road.

CLAXTON BAY (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM)

• From pole #3 along Mt. Pleasant Road heading across the Claxton Bay flyover along Cedar Hill Road and then onto Mayo Road until pole #184.
• The following roads and associated side streets will be affected: Diamond Road up to pole #18, Kangawood Road, Forres Park Trace, Macaulay Trace, Upper Hermitage Road, Caratal Road No. 2, Caratal Road No.1.

PENAL (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM)

• From LP #6 to LP #34 Goodman Trace, including Sammy Trace West and all associated side streets.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
