THREE (3) Men Held, Stolen Items Recovered In Larceny Investigation

Officers arrested three (3) men and recovered items of evidentiary value during intelligence-led operations conducted in the North Central Division on Friday (12th December, 2025).

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), relative to a report of larceny made on Friday, Officers carried out an intelligence-led exercise, during which they proceeded to the old, abandoned St. Joseph Secondary School. While there, Officers searched a man of no fixed place of abode and recovered several items reported stolen in connection with the matter. The man was subsequently arrested.

Further investigations led Officers to Cherry Drive, Bangladesh, St. Joseph, where their attention was drawn to a partially abandoned structure. Officers observed a man wanted in connection with several larceny offences. The team surrounded the structure and approached the suspect. Several items reported stolen were found in his possession. The man, who is also of no fixed place of abode, was arrested.

Both suspects and the recovered items were conveyed to the St. Joseph Police Station.

Later that day, Police also arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with the same larceny report.

Enquiries are continuing under the supervision of Ag. Cpl. Lambkin.
