New Year’s Day Weather: Fair, Breezy, 30% Chance For Showers; 31°C Max

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect fair and at times, breezy conditions today (Thursday 1st January, 2026), despite the low (30%) chance of isolated showery interruptions. Tonight will be clear and cool.

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 31°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 29°C at Crown Point in Tobago. 

Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and 0.5m to 1m in sheltered areas.
