NO Electricity On Thursday In Parts of St. James, Petit Valley, Arima, El Socorro, Tunapuna, Chaguanas, Caratal, Dow Village
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of St. James, Petit Valley, Arima, El Socorro, Tunapuna, Chaguanas, Caratal and Dow Village on Thursday (15th January, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in St. James, Petit Valley, Arima, El Socorro, Tunapuna, Chaguanas, Caratal and Dow Village are as follows:
ST. JAMES (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- Along the Western Main Road between One Woodbrook Place and Mi Casa Furniture Store, inclusive of Samaan Drive, Ganges Street, Lucknow Street, Panka Street (from Lucknow Street to the Woodbrook Cemetery), Gaston Johnston Street, Francis Lau Street, Woodbrook Cemetery, Henry Pierre Street and all associated side streets.
PETIT VALLEY (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- All customers in Pioneer Drive between LP #56 to LP #63 and all associated side streets.
ARIMA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- All customers from LP #2 to LP #7 on Kingdom Avenue, including Palm Avenue, By-Pass Road.
EL SOCORRO (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- All customers from LP #15 Chanka Trace to LP #53 Hingo Settlement Trace.
TUNAPUNA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- All Customers from LP #34 to LP #40 Madoo Hill.
CHAGUANAS (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From corner of Constance Street and Algernon Street heading South up to LP #11 on Constance Street.
- From corner of Constance Street and Grace Street heading West to corner of Andrew Street and Grace Street and all associated side streets, off Southern Main Road, Montrose.
CARATAL (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #72 along the Caratal Road up to LP #74 along Light Bourne Road and all associated side streets.
DOW VILLAGE (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
- Off LP #1362A to LP #11 Church Road and all associated side streets.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
