T&TEC: NO Electricity On Monday In Parts of Arima And Freeport
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Arima and Freeport on Monday (12th January, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Arima and Freeport are as follows:
ARIMA (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
- All customers off LP #55 Pro De Verteuil, including Shano's Roti Shop and Classic Launderers & Dry Cleaners Limited.
FREEPORT (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- From LP #83 along Taitt Madoo Road heading East up to LP #79, then heading North up to Calcutta Settlement No. 3 (in the vicinity of 3PL Warehouse) and then West along Ramkhalia Trace up to LP #65, and all associated side streets, inclusive of Palm Drive and Collins Lane.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
