NO Electricity On Tuesday In Parts of Arima, El Socorro, Caura, Charlieville, Claxton Bay, Dow Village, South Oropouche
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Arima, El Socorro, Caura, Charlieville, Claxton Bay, Dow Village and South Oropouche on Tuesday (27th January, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Arima, El Socorro, Caura, Charlieville, Claxton Bay, Dow Village and South Oropouche are as follows:
ARIMA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- All customers from LP #17 to LP #22 De Gannes Street, including Woodford Street between Longden Street and Church Street, Arima.
EL SOCORRO (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- All customers on Panchu Lane #1, El Socorro.
CAURA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- All customers from LP #41 heading North on Caura Royal Road, and also customers from LP #152 to LP #71A heading North on Caura Road and all associated side streets, Caura.
CHARLIEVILLE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #57 Assaraf Road East heading North to LP #57/3/2 and all associated side streets, Charlieville.
CLAXTON BAY (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- From LP #A64 (in the vicinity of Savonetta Substation) along North Sea Drive onto the Southern Main Road up to LP #A896 then heading South on the Old Southern Main Road up to LP #964 (Claxton Bay Junction).
- From Claxton Bay Junction heading East along the Cedar Hill Road up to LP #57 and all associated side streets, inclusive of School Trace, Abdool Street, Rosehill Street, Lodge Street, Abraham Street, Pranz Garden and Savonetta Housing Development, Old Southern Main Road.
DOW VILLAGE (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
- Off LP #1362A to LP #11 Church Road and all associated side streets.
SOUTH OROPOUCHE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- LP #1 to LP #14 Ralph Narine Trace, South Oropouche and all associated side streets.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
