Today’s Weather: Cloudy, Breezy, 40% Chance For Heavy Showers; 29°C Max

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect partly cloudy to cloudy and at times, breezy conditions today (Friday 9th January, 2026), with occasional light or moderate showers and/or periods of rain occurring. There is also a medium (40%) chance of a few heavy showers. Some cloudiness will persist overnight with a few lingering showers. 

The Met Office notes that winds may gust at times, particularly near showers.

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 29°C at both Piarco in Trinidad and Crown Point in Tobago. 

Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
