Today’s Weather: Fair, Partly Cloudy, Scattered Showers; 31°C Max

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), today (Tuesday 6th January, 2026) will be fair, except for some partly cloudy intervals associated with scattered showers/rain over most areas.

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 31°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 30°C at Crown Point in Tobago. 

Seas are slight to moderate with waves 1m to 1.5m in open waters and 0.5m to 1m in sheltered areas.

The Met Office notes that marine interests near exposed Northern and North-Eastern coasts should exercise caution in all sea-related activities, due to the presence of increasing North-Easterly long-period swells.
