Today’s Weather: Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Isolated Showers; 31°C Max

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect generally sunny conditions today (Thursday 8th January, 2026). Partly cloudy spells with showers are likely over a few areas, particularly later in the day and into the night.

The Met Office has officially declared the start of the 2026 Dry Season.

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 31°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 30°C at Crown Point in Tobago. Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and below 1m and occasionally choppy in sheltered areas.
