Venezuelan Man Stabbed To Death At Apartment In Diego Martin
A man is dead following a stabbing incident at an apartment in Diego Martin early Sunday morning (11th January, 2026). While the deceased has not yet been identified, he is believed to be a Venezuelan national.
According to reports, Police were alerted about the presence of a body at a two-storey apartment complex in Green Hill Village, Diego Martin, around 6:30 AM. Upon arrival, Officers discovered the unresponsive man with multiple chop and stab wounds about the body.
He was said to be among four (4) Venezuelan men who occupied the building, when an argument reportedly erupted and quickly escalated into violence. The victim was brutally attacked during the violent altercation.
The suspect then fled the scene.
A District Medical Officer (DMO) was summoned, who pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Investigations are continuing by Officers of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI) Region I, as efforts continue to identify both the victim and the suspect.
