23-Year-Old Man Disappears After Leaving Home For Job Interview At C3 Mall; Wife Receives Distress Message Hours Later
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 23-year-old man from Ste. Madeleine who has been missing since Saturday (7th February, 2026), after he reportedly sent a distress message to his common-law wife. The man has been identified as Joshua Mohammed of Railway Line, Victoria Village, Ste. Madeleine.
According to reports, Mohammed was last seen leaving his home around 11:45 AM on Saturday, driving a white Nissan AD wagon (PCN 7988), allegedly on his way to a job interview at C3 Mall, San Fernando. Reports indicate that he is not the owner of the wagon.
However, neither Mohammed nor the vehicle has been seen since. Repeated attempts to contact him by phone have been unsuccessful, with calls going directly to voicemail.
A missing person report was subsequently filed, and an All-Points Bulletin (APB) was issued for the vehicle.
Police said searches carried out so far have not yielded any results.
Alarmingly, his common-law wife reportedly checked her cellphone around 8:20 PM on Sunday night (8th February, 2026), and discovered a message she missed from Mohammed that had been received the previous day at 2:30 PM, indicating that he needed help.
Mohammed is said to be about 179 centimetres (5 feet, 9 inches) tall, of mixed descent with a medium-build, light brown complexion, a moustache and short curly hair.
Investigations are continuing into his disappearance.
More on this as it becomes available.
