BODY of Man Found At Lange Park Recreation Ground, Chaguanas — With Head Wound

The body of a man was found at the Lange Park Recreation Ground in Chaguanas this morning (Tuesday 24th February, 2026). The deceased has not yet been identified, but is believed to be a homeless individual.

According to reports, Officers attached to the Central Division were alerted about a man seen lying motionless on the ground, around 8:00 AM. Upon arrival at the scene, they found the man’s lifeless body with a wound to his head. 

Investigators believe the man may have been walking through the park, around 4:00 AM, when he stumbled and struck his head on a concrete bench. 

Investigations are continuing.
