Missing: 16-Year-Old Penal Girl — Last Seen On Thursday

UPDATE (07/02/26): Viand has been safely located in a forested area in Princes Town. According to the Hunters Search and Rescue Team (HSRT), “EXCELLENT WORK by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service. Police Officer Avinash Rohan of the Special Operations Unit, Corporal Carmodie and WPC Hunt of the Special Victims Unit, working in coordination with Hunters Search and Rescue Team, led by Captain Vallence Rambharat, and Sergeant Seerattan of the Penal Police Station, journeyed two (2) kilometres into a forested area in the St. Croix, Princes Town District and was able to safely locate VIAND RAMNANAN. WELL DONE. GOD IS GREAT.”
The Hunters Search and Rescue Team (HSRT) is seeking the public’s assistance to find a missing 16-year-old girl. In a social media post today (Friday 6th February, 2026), the HSRT said Viand Ramanan of San Francique, Penal, was last seen on Thursday (5th February, 2026). Her relatives are in contact with the team.
