NO Electricity On Thursday In Parts of Chaguaramas, Valencia, Caratal, Penal

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Chaguaramas, Valencia, Caratal and Penal on Thursday (16th April, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works — 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Chaguaramas, Valencia, Caratal and Penal are as follows: 

CHAGUARAMAS

  • From corner Rodney Street and Westem Main Road heading West to pole #248 Western Main Road, Carenage (in the vicinity of N.P. Gas Station), Miller Street, Amowsville, Sanora Park, Big Yard, Smith Hill, Lanse Mitan Road, Seaview Gardens, Aquaview Terrace, Bain's Land, Oceanview Drive, Sunset Ridge, Gulf View Drive, School Street, Constabulary Street, Beard Street, Scorpion Alley, Peter Gardens, Ocean Park, Susan Crescent, Denise Circular and all associated streets.

VALENCIA

  • From LP #7 Smithfield Land heading North.

CARATAL

  • From LP #68 on Forres Park Trace heading East up to LP #57 on Light Bourne Trace and all associated side streets.

PENAL

  • LP #105/2 Temple Street off Digity Trace and all associated side streets.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
