T&TEC: NO Electricity On Thursday In Parts of Sangre Grande And Cumuto

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Sangre Grande and Cumuto on Thursday (9th April, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Sangre Grande and Cumuto are as follows: 

SANGRE GRANDE (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • From the Sangre Grande Substation to LP #A937 along the Eastern Main Road up to LP #136 along Toco Main Road, including Brierley Street, Fishing Pond Road, River Street, Ojoe Road, Oropouche Road, La Seiva Road and all associated streets.

SANGRE GRANDE (8:30 AM to 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM)

  • From Sangre Grande Substation, including Adventist Street and Ojoe Road heading South, including Brierley Street, Neil Street, Sukhram Village Street 1 to 3, Evelyn Street, Ramoutar Street, Sangre Grande Fire Station, Sangre Grande Enhanced Health Care Centre, Sangre Grande Hospital, Narine Street, Providence Street, Katwaroo Trace, Perseverance Park, Graham Trace, Graham Trace Extension, Pine Haven Circle, Pine Avenue, Ramoutar Street, Sycamore Drive, North Eastern Settlement, LA Drive, Immortelle Crescent, Mahogany Drive, William Trace, Quash Trace, North Eastern College, Sangre Grande Secondary School, Foster Road, LP #51 to LP #82 La Seiva Extension and all associated streets.

CUMUTO (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #50A on San Carlos Road.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
