Today’s Weather: Hot, Sunny, Isolated Showers — Mild Saharan Dust; 32°C Max

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), today (Monday 20th April, 2026) will be hot and sunny with a few partly cloudy spells, with brief, isolated showers. There is a low chance of the isolated heavy shower favouring Western areas of Trinidad during the afternoon. Tonight will be mostly fair. 

The Met Office notes that a mild concentration of Saharan dust is present in the atmosphere. Sensitive persons are advised to take the necessary precautions.

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 32°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 31°C at Crown Point in Tobago. 

Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
