1-Month-Old Baby Boy DIES At Cunupia Home With Bruises; Police Investigating
A 1-month-old baby boy has died under suspicious circumstances at his family’s Cunupia home on Wednesday (8th October, 2025). The baby has been identified as Cardlay Del Valle, who lived with his parents — a 33-year-old man and 19-year-old teenager — at Ragoonanan Drive, Cunupia.
According to reports, Officers of the Cunupia Police Station received a report of a sudden death at the Chaguanas Health Facility, around 5:00 PM. Upon arrival, they were told that a 1-month-old baby boy had died.
Investigators said bruises were found on the child’s body.
A District Medical Officer (DMO) viewed the body and ordered a post-mortem to determine the cause of death.
Investigations are continuing by Officers of the Cunupia Police Station.
