24-Year-Old Man Held In San Juan With FIFTY (50) Rounds of Ammunition

A man was arrested and several rounds of ammunition were seized during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the North Eastern Division on Tuesday night (7th October, 2025).

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), between 6:00 PM and Midnight, Officers conducted the operation within the San Juan Police District. The exercise, which involved members of the San Juan Criminal Investigations Department, the North Eastern Division Task Force, and the North Eastern Division Gang Intelligence Unit, was a direct response to a recent upsurge in violent crimes recorded in the Mt. During the operation, the TTPS said Officers arrested a 24-year-old man from Riverdale Gardens, Harmony Hall, Gasparillo, for possession of fifty (50) rounds of .40 calibre ammunition.

The items were seized and are being processed by the North Eastern Division Crime Scene Investigations Unit.
