27-Year-Old Man Shot Dead In Cunupia During Dispute Over Woman
A man is dead following a shooting incident in Cunupia on Tuesday afternoon (7th October, 2025). The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Andrew Morales of Petit Bourg. He was allegedly shot dead by another man during a dispute over a Venezuelan woman.
According to reports, Morales was visiting a woman at her home along Marshall Trace, Cunupia, around 2:30 PM, when he was confronted by the woman’s ex-boyfriend, identified as Richard Singh, aka ‘Patchi,’ of Warrenville, Cunupia. During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot Morales three (3) times in the head before making his escape on a bicycle, which was later found abandoned.
CCTV footage captured Singh as he was riding away from the crime scene.
Police and Emergency Health Services were notified and Morales was rushed to the Chaguanas District Health Facility, where he was pronounced dead while receiving emergency medical treatment.
Crime scene investigators recovered three (3) spent shells.
A manhunt has been launched for the suspect.
Investigations are continuing.
