$475,000 Weed Field Destroyed In St. Joseph
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), between the hours of 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM on Saturday (25th October, 2025), Officers conducted an exercise in the Wharf Trace, St. Joseph district.
Based on information received, Officers proceeded to a forested area where they discovered a weed field containing approximately 1,000 fully-grown cannabis plants and a quantity of seedlings. The items were destroyed on-site. The estimated street value of the narcotics is $475,000.
This exercise was spearheaded by ACP Singh, Snr. Supt. Gift, Supt. Jagganath, and ASP Bharath, and co-ordinated by Ag. Insp. Peters. Supervision was provided by Ag. Cpl. Dhill, and included members of the North-Central Division Task Force (NCDTF) West.
Investigations are continuing.
