Today: Hot, Sunny, 30% - 40% Chance For Thunderstorm Activity; 33°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect generally hot and sunny conditions today (Wednesday 15th October, 2025), despite the brief, isolated shower. There is also the low to medium (30% to 40%) chance of thunderstorm activity, favouring Western and hilly areas of Trinidad. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a few showers/light rain and the low (30%) chance of the odd heavy shower or thunderstorm.
The Met Office notes that gusty winds and street/flash flooding are possible in the vicinity of heavy downpours.

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at both Piarco in Trinidad and Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are slight to moderate with waves 1m to 1.5m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
