Adverse Weather Alert In Effect This Morning Until 9:30 AM

UPDATE (9:40 AM): The Met Office has just extended this Adverse Weather Alert (Yellow Level) until 4:00 PM.

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has issued an Adverse Weather Alert (Yellow Level) this morning (Thursday 20th November, 2025) from 3:00 AM until 9:30 AM for Trinidad and Tobago.

According to the Met Office, moderate showers and rain have been affecting Trinidad and Tobago from Wednesday afternoon (19th November, 2025). These conditions are associated with the passage of a low-level trough, enhanced by favourable mid to upper level flow.

Scattered showers/rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected, mostly favouring Southern Trinidad and to a lesser extent, Tobago. Possible impacts include street and/or flash flooding in areas so prone, localized ponding in low-lying areas and landslips and landslides.
