Here’s The 5-Day Weather Outlook For T&T [Saturday Until Wednesday]

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), presently, two (2) areas of low pressure in the Central equatorial Atlantic (40W and 33W) are exhibiting moderate vorticity, but are not showing any likelihood for further development at this time. During this outlook period, there is likely to be fluctuating low-level convergence and intermittent periods of equatorial moisture advection across the Lesser Antilles.

A Hazardous Seas Alert (Yellow Level) will be in effect until 12:00 PM on Tuesday (18th November, 2025) for Northern and Eastern near-shore areas of Trinidad and Tobago.

Looking Beyond This Outlook Period

  • At this time, looking ahead in the Area of Interest during the seven (7) days following this outlook period, analysis continues to indicate mainly fluctuating levels of low-level convergence and intermittent periods of equatorial moisture advection. There are no significant features nor cyclonic development analyzed.
  • These early analyses so far into the future are subjected to much variation as time progresses. The Met Office said it will continue to analyze and monitor all developments, or possible developments, within our Area of Interest.

Seas

  • The wind waves in the open waters to the near-East and Northeast of Trinidad and Tobago are expected to be near 1.5m to 2m, peaking to 2m or just above on Wednesday (19th).

Wind

  • The wind in the near-surface to the lower mid-level over Trinidad and Tobago and the Southern Windward Islands (2,000 ft to 5,000 ft) is expected to be initially near 10 kts to 15 kts, increasing to near 20 kts from Tuesday (18th) for the remainder of this outlook period.
  • Direction is expected to be initially Southeast but backing to come from the East-Northeast by Monday evening (17th).

Dust

  • Generally mild to occasionally moderate concentrations of dust are expected in the atmosphere for this outlook period. Sensitive persons are advised to take the necessary precautions.

Synopsis And 5-Day Outlook 

  • Varying low-level convergence and intermittent equatorial moisture advection are expected to produce patches of cloudiness and a few showers during this period. There are likely to be low to medium chances for isolated thunderstorms over Trinidad and Tobago and the Windward and Southern Leeward Islands on Sunday (16th) and Monday (17th). The chance for thunderstorm activity increases to medium to high on Tuesday (18th) and Wednesday (19th).

Saturday (15th November, 2025)

  • Trinidad and Tobago and the Windward Islands: Partly cloudy periods are expected to interrupt some fair conditions, with a few light or moderate showers. There is a low to medium chance for a heavy shower during the afternoon.
  • The Leeward Islands: Mostly fair with brief showers over a few areas and a low chance for an isolated moderate shower.

Sunday (16th November, 2025)

  • Trinidad and Tobago and the Windward Islands: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times during the morning to afternoon, with showers over varying areas and a low to medium chance for an isolated heavy shower or thunderstorm.
  • The Leeward Islands: Generally fair morning with a few showers in some areas. Partly cloudy to cloudy during the evening, with showers over varying areas and a medium chance for isolated thunderstorms.

Monday (17th November, 2025)

  • Trinidad and Tobago and the Windward Islands: Partly cloudy, becoming cloudy at times, with showers over varying areas and a medium chance for an isolated heavy shower or thunderstorm.
  • The Leeward Islands: Generally fair morning with a few showers in some areas. Partly cloudy to cloudy during the afternoon to evening, with showers over varying areas and a medium chance for isolated thunderstorms.

Tuesday (18th November, 2025)

  • Trinidad and Tobago and the Windward Islands: Partly cloudy to cloudy, with showers and a medium to high chance for isolated heavy showers or thunderstorm activity.
  • The Leeward Islands: Partly cloudy with some showers and a low to medium chance for isolated heavy showers or a thunderstorm, mainly during the afternoon.

Wednesday (19th November, 2025)

  • Trinidad and Tobago and the Windward Islands: Cloudy morning to mid-afternoon, with showers or rain and medium to high chances for thunderstorm activity.
  • The Leeward Islands: Fair, becoming partly cloudy at times, with light to moderate showers in some areas and a low to medium chance for an isolated heavy shower or thunderstorm.

The TTMS said it continues to analyze and monitor all developments within the Area of Interest.
