NALIS: Temporary Closure of National Library In Port-of-Spain
The National Library and Information System Authority (NALIS) is advising the public that its National Library of Trinidad and Tobago, located at 23 Abercromby Street, Port-of-Spain, will remain closed from Saturday (8th November, 2025) to Tuesday (11th November, 2025). The library closed at 4:00 PM on Friday (7th November, 2025).
NALIS said it “apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this temporary closure but this is necessary to facilitate maintenance works to be carried out on the cooling tower related to the air conditioning system at the building.”
Normal services are expected to resume on Wednesday (12th November, 2025).
NALIS is inviting patrons to utilize services at any other library in the NALIS network.
