Social Media Personality ‘Darri Boss’ Shot Dead At Bar In Tunapuna — Police Investigating
A woman is dead following a shooting incident at a bar in Tunapuna last night (Saturday 8th November, 2025). The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old social media personality, Darrina Dow, aka ‘Darri Boss,’ of Maraj Street, Pasea Extension, Tunapuna.
According to reports, Dow, who has over 33,000 followers on Instagram, was playing cards with friends at Strodes Bar, located at No. 15 Maraj Street, around 10:30 PM, when a white Nissan AD wagon (PDX 3459) pulled up. A masked gunman, described as tall and dressed in dark clothing, alighted from the vehicle and opened fire on Dow, hitting her multiple times before fleeing the scene in the same vehicle.
The deadly shooting was captured on CCTV footage.
Police and Emergency Health Services were notified.
A bystander, along with Dow’s father, rushed the injured woman to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex (EWMSC) in Mount Hope. However, she pronounced her dead on arrival at 11:25 PM. Doctors confirmed she had sustained four (4) gunshot wounds to the back.
Officers from the North Central Division and Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI) Region II responded to the scene, photographed evidence and interviewed witnesses.
Police have not yet established a motive for Dow’s murder.
Investigations are continuing.
