Today: Hot, Sunny, Hazy, 40% Chance For Heavy Showers — Light Saharan Dust; 33°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), hot, sunny and slightly hazy conditions today (Wednesday 5th November, 2025) are expected, despite a few partly cloudy spells with light or moderate showers occurring at times. There is also a medium (40%) chance of isolated heavy showers and/or thunderstorms. Tonight will be fair. However, a few showers are expected after Midnight.
Gusty winds and street/flash flooding are possible in the event of heavy showers and/or thunderstorms.
The Met Office notes that there is a light concentration of Saharan dust present in the atmosphere.

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
