Today: Sunny, Hazy, Windy, Isolated Showers — Significant Saharan Dust; 32°C Max

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect generally sunny, hazy and windy conditions today (Sunday 9th November, 2025). A few partly cloudy spells and isolated showers are likely. Tonight will be generally fair with only a chance of the odd isolated shower.  

The Met Office notes the following:

  1. Winds can become gusty near showers. Small craft operators, sea bathers and all other marine interests are advised to exercise caution. 
  2. A significant concentration of Saharan dust is present in the atmosphere. Persons sensitive to this change in air quality are advised to take the necessary precautions.

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 32°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 31°C at Crown Point in Tobago. 

Seas are moderate with waves 2m to 2.5m in open waters and near 1m and occasionally choppy in sheltered areas.
