Today’s Weather: Cloudy, 60% Chance For Thunderstorm Activity; 30°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), today (Sunday 7th December, 2025) will be partly cloudy/cloudy at times, with scattered light to moderate showers and the medium (60%) chance of isolated thunderstorm activity. Gradual improvement is expected by late afternoon despite the light lingering shower. Tonight will be mostly fair, with a gentle breeze and the odd shower.
The Met Office notes that gusty winds and street/flash flooding are likely near heavy downpours.
An Adverse Weather Alert (Yellow Level) remains in effect until 6:00 PM today, unless otherwise updated/discontinued.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 30°C at both Piarco in Trinidad and Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are moderate with waves 2m to 2.5m in open waters and below 1m and choppy near showers in sheltered areas.
