NO Electricity On Wednesday In Parts of Maraval, Valsayn, Cunupia, Caparo, Gasparillo, Chatham

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Maraval, Valsayn, Cunupia, Caparo, Gasparillo and Chatham on Wednesday (14th January, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Maraval, Valsayn, Cunupia, Caparo, Gasparillo and Chatham are as follows: 

MARAVAL (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • All customers in Winter Gardens, Saut D'Eau Road and all associated side streets.

VALSAYN (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • All customers from LP #62 to LP #67 Mayfield Road.

CUNUPIA (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • From corner of Warren Road and Ajodha Road heading West to corner of Warren Road and Ramlal Trace.
  • From corner of Ramlal Trace and Ramsaran Trace heading East up to LP #56 and all associated side streets, inclusive of Rangoo Trace, Chatee Trace and Ramal Trace Extension, Warren Road.

CAPARO (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #342 along the Caparo Brasso Valley Road up to LP #77 (in the vicinity of John Williams Trace) and all associated side streets, inclusive of Telemarque Road, Brasso Tamana Road, D'Abadie Road and Mamoral Road.

GASPARILLO (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM)

  • LP #83 Harmony Hall 2nd Street and all associated side streets.

CHATHAM (11:30 AM to 12:30 PM)

  • LP #65 Syphoo Trace, Southern Main Road, Chatham, including Syphoo Trace and any associated side streets.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
