Home of Murdered Businessman’s Son Riddled With Bullets, Days After Father’s Funeral

According to reports, the Sangre Grande home belonging to a son of murdered businessman Danny Guerra was riddled with bullets a short while ago today (Saturday 21st March, 2026), just two (2) days after Guerra’s funeral. His four (4) children reportedly received death threats prior to the funeral, forcing them to stay away from laying their father to rest on Thursday (19th March, 2026), as a result of safety concerns for the family.

No one was said to be at the home, located at Guy Trace, Oropouche Road, Sangre Grande, during the shooting. However, the brazen nature of the incident has left residents on edge.

Police Officers are currently at the scene processing evidence, conducting enquiries and examining whether the attack is directly linked to Guerra’s brutal murder.

The incident comes just over a week after Guerra, the owner of DG Homes, was shot dead by two (2) masked gunmen while inside his vehicle in Sangre Grande on Friday 13th March, 2026.

Investigations are continuing.

More on this as it becomes available.
