Today’s Weather: Settled Conditions, 60% Chance For Thunderstorm Activity; 31°C Max

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), generally settled conditions today (Monday 20th October, 2025) will be interrupted at times by pockets of showers. There is a medium (60%) chance of isolated thunderstorm activity. Conditions should become mostly settled by early night, despite the odd lingering shower. 

An Adverse Weather Alert (Yellow Level) remains in effect until 10:00 PM tonight. The Met Office notes that the axis of an active Tropical Wave is now over the Caribbean sea, as it continues to move steadily away from the region.

A Hazardous Seas Alert (Yellow Level) is also in effect until Tuesday afternoon (21st October, 2025).

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 31°C at both Piarco in Trinidad and Crown Point in Tobago. 

Seas are moderate with waves near 2m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
