THREE (3) Men Held For Robbery In Curepe

Officers of the St. Joseph Criminal Investigations Department (CID) arrested three (3) men following a report of robbery with aggravation in Curepe early Saturday morning (29th November, 2025).

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), around 2:10 AM, a party of Officers were at a standstill position at the Curepe Traffic Lights, when they were approached by a man who reported that he had just been robbed by three (3) men in a green wagon, heading South along the Southern Main Road.

The victim, a 22 –year-old man of Bushe Street, Curepe, told Officers he was robbed of an iPhone, a wallet containing TT $150 and a Republic Bank card.

The Officers and the victim proceeded along the Southern Main Road. Upon reaching Lyndon Street, Curepe, they observed a green wagon matching the description, proceeding South.

The vehicle was intercepted and three (3) suspects were arrested: a 22-year-old man of Stevensville, Morvant, Laventille, a 31-year-old of Mapland, Laventille and a 19-year-old man of Stevensville, Morvant, Laventille. 

A search of the suspects and the vehicle led to the recovery of a black-handled silver knife, an iPhone in a purple case found on the floor of the front passenger seat, and a black side bag containing a brown C&X Cossox wallet with a Republic Bank card in the victim’s name. 

With assistance from Tunapuna CID, the suspects and the vehicle were taken to the St. Joseph Police Station for further enquiries.
