NO Electricity On Tuesday In Parts of Diego Martin, San Juan, Matelot, Cumuto, Claxton Bay, Siparia
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Diego Martin, San Juan, Matelot, Cumuto, Claxton Bay and Siparia on Tuesday (26th May, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Diego Martin, San Juan, Matelot, Cumuto, Claxton Bay and Siparia are as follows:
DIEGO MARTIN (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- Along Victoria Gardens, inclusive of Victoria Avenue, Canna Road, Orleander Road, Verbena Drive, Vanda Road, Orchid Avenue, Jasmine Avenue, Frangipani Avenue, Royal Palm Avenue and all associated side streets.
SAN JUAN (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- All customers on Sookia Street East and Basmath Ali Street, San Juan.
MATELOT (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #1 on George Street, including San Souci R.C. School, San Souci Health Centre and Basin Road.
CUMUTO (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
All customers from LP #189 on Cumuto Road heading South, including Cumuto Old Road, Mahaboo Trace, Gunness Trace, Santo Trace, Hemraj Trace, Torrel Trace, LP #23 to LP #51 on Sin Verguenza Branch Road, Cumuto.
CLAXTON BAY (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From pole #7 along Railway Road heading in a Westward direction towards Esperanza Road. On Esperanza Road, heading North and then crossing onto the Rivulet Road via pole #66S.
- From the Rivulet Road, heading East up to pole #166 along the Rivulet Road.
- From Milton Junction, heading South onto Mt. Pleasant Road.
- From Mt. Pleasant Road, heading East across the Claxton Bay flyover along Cedar Hill Road and then onto Mayo Road until pole #184.
- The following roads and associated side streets will be affected: Diamond Road up to pole #18, Kangawood Road, Forres Park Trace, Macaulay Trace, Upper Hermitage Road, Caratal Road No. 2 and Caratal Road No. 1.
SIPARIA (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
- From LP #1 to LP #23 on #3 Road, including #37 Road, #15 Road and all associated side streets.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
