Today: Partly Cloudy, Hazy, Breezy, 30% Chance For Heavy Showers — Moderate Saharan Dust; 33°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect partly cloudy, hazy and breezy conditions today (Wednesday 3rd June, 2026), with a few light or moderate showers occurring. There is also a low (30%) chance of an isolated heavy shower or thunderstorm, favouring Southern areas of Trinidad. Some cloudiness will persist overnight, with brief showers likely, increasing after Midnight.
Gusty winds and street flooding may occur near heavy showers or thunderstorms.
The Met Office notes that a moderate concentration of Saharan dust is present in the atmosphere. Persons who are sensitive to this change in air quality are advised to take the necessary precautions.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are moderate with waves 2m to 2.5m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
