Today: Sunny, Hazy, Breezy, Isolated Showers — Mild Saharan Dust; 33°C Max

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect generally sunny, hazy and breezy conditions today (Monday 18th May, 2026), with the risk of brief isolated showers, especially near hilly areas. Tonight will be mostly fair apart from the chance of the odd isolated shower. 

The Met Office notes that a relatively mild concentration of Saharan dust is currently present in the atmosphere.

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago. 

Seas are moderate with waves near 2.5m in open waters and near 1m and occasionally choppy in sheltered areas.
