Today: Sunny, Hazy, Breezy, Isolated Showers — Moderate Saharan Dust; 33°C Max

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect sunny, hazy and breezy conditions today (Thursday 14th May, 2026), despite occasional cloudy spells with a few light or moderate showers occurring, mainly during the afternoon. Tonight will be fair but hazy, with isolated showers likely after Midnight. 

Winds may gust at times, particularly near showers. 

The Met Office notes that a moderate concentration of Saharan dust is present in the atmosphere. Persons who are sensitive to this change in air quality are advised to take the necessary precautions.

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago. 

Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
