Sangre Grande Duo Granted $100,000 Bail Each In Robbery With Violence Case
Two (2) men appeared before the Court on Thursday (26th September, 2025), in connection with a robbery with violence that occurred on Sunday 21st September, 2025 along Cyprus Road, Picton Road Extension, Sangre Grande. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), Marcus Mottley , 18, of Phillipville and Keon Rose, 19, of Foster Road, were jointly charged with robbery with violence and appeared before Master Rehanna Hosein at North Court B, where they pleaded not guilty to the offence. The Court subsequently granted bail to both accused in the sum of $100,000 each, with sureties and strict conditions. Bail Conditions: Marcus Mottley is to report to the Sangre Grande Police Station twice per week and must observe a daily curfew: 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM. He must have no communication with, or be in proximity to, the virtual complainant.
