U.S. Embassy In POS Requires New ‘Polymer’ Birth Certificate When Attending Visa Interview With Minor Children

The United States Embassy in Port-of-Spain announced on Saturday (29th November, 2025) that it requires parents or legal guardians to provide the new “polymer” birth certificate when attending a Non-Immigrant Visa interview with minor children. 

The Embassy said the previous “blue” version will no longer be accepted.
