Blue Wave Harmony Sailing Rescheduled To Support Carnival Cargo Operations

The Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (PATT) has adjusted the sailing schedule for the Blue Wave Harmony — which recently sustained hull damage — to accommodate increased heavy-cargo demand and ensure efficient vessel operations during the Carnival period.

In order to meet operational requirements, PATT said the Blue Wave Harmony departed Port-of-Spain at 10:00 PM on Friday night (13th February, 2026) and was expected to berth at the Port of Scarborough at 7:00 AM, to allow priority loading and un-berthing of the APT James. The revised departure allowed for safe and efficient management of the existing fleet movement.

According to PATT, “This adjusted schedule supports both cargo movement and passenger operations by ensuring berth availability, [and] safe vessel maneuvering through the continued use of tug support for Blue Wave Harmony at the Port of Scarborough.”

PATT said it “continues to actively manage sea bridge operations as services stabilize, balancing passenger travel and cargo logistics during the peak Carnival period.”
