32-Year-Old Man Shot Dead At His Home In South Oropouche — 6 Spent Shells Found
A man is dead following a shooting incident at his home in South Oropouche late last night (Thursday 11th June, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Dillon Bunsee, a straightener and painter of Warden Road, South Oropouche.
According to reports, Bunsee was liming at his home with his girlfriend, 24-year-old Naomi Ramdhanie, and two (2) other men, identified only as Cameron Saitoo and “Goon,” when a gunman entered the garage area, around 11:00 PM. The man fired several shots at Bunsee before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The suspect was described as being of East Indian descent, slim build, light brown complexion, about five (5) feet, seven (7) inches tall, clean-shaven, and dressed in a black camouflage cap and black hoodie.
Officers were on mobile patrol in the Oropouche district when they received reports of loud explosions along Warden Road, around 11:18 PM. Upon arrival at Bunsee’s home, they found him lying on his back in the garage area with apparent gunshot wounds to the head and neck.
Bunsee was conveyed to the San Fernando General Hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead at 11:44 PM.
Crime scene investigators recovered six (6) 9mm spent shell casings marked “Luger 9mm.”
Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the murder.
