NO Electricity On Tuesday In Parts of Cascade, Laventille, Sangre Grande, Longdenville, Penal, Debe
UPDATE: T&TEC has cancelled its planned maintenance work for Cascade.
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Cascade, Laventille, Sangre Grande, Longdenville, Penal and Debe on Tuesday (16th June, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Cascade, Laventille, Sangre Grande, Longdenville, Penal and Debe are as follows:
CASCADE (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- Along St. Ann’s Main Road from the Coblentz Avenue Junction to St. Ann’s Avenue Junction, inclusive of Nook Avenue, Chinese Association of Trinidad and Tobago, Normandie Hotel, La Fantasie Road, Food Plaza along St. Ann’s Road, Coblentz Gardens and all associated side streets.
LAVENTILLE (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- Along Trou Macaque Road, inclusive of Buller Trace, Pelican Road and all associated side streets.
SANGRE GRANDE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- McIntosh Trace, Vega de Oropouche.
LONGDENVILLE (9:00 AM to 2:30 PM)
- From LP #A75 (in the vicinity of Longdenville Substation) along Edinburgh Road heading North on to Caparo Brasso Valley Road.
- From corner of Caparo Brasso Road and Edinburgh Road heading North up to LP #61 (in the vicinity of Qui’s Supermarket) and all associated side streets, inclusive of Carlsen Field Phase 3C, Nelson Street, Montrose Main Road up to LP #213 (in the vicinity of Penco Trace), Penco Trace, Amaroosingh Street, Sandy Lane, St. Louis Drive, Fleming Street, Dam Road, Lamont Street, Cemetery Street and Enterprise Street.
PENAL (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
- From LP #A245 to LP #254B S.S. Erin Road, Penal and all associated side streets, including Penal Quinam Road, Jaimungal Trace, Alvarado Avenue, Lowkie Trace Extension, Sunrees Road, Rambucas Court and National Trace.
DEBE (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
- LP #1 Ramai Trace to LP #72 Congo Trace, including Lalbeharry Branch Trace #1, Lalbeharry Trace #2 and all associated side streets.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
