NO Electricity On Tuesday In Parts of Carenage, Arima, Matura, Longdenville, Couva, Cap-de-Ville

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Carenage, Arima, Matura, Longdenville, Couva and Cap-de-Ville on Tuesday (21st July, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Carenage, Arima, Matura, Longdenville, Couva and Cap-de-Ville are as follows: 

CARENAGE (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • Along the Western Main Road from Smith Hill to Sea View Gardens, inclusive of Sea View Gardens, L'Anse Mitan Road, Thompson Circle, Smith Hill and all associated side streets.

ARIMA (8:30 AM to 11:30 AM)

  • All customers from LP #145 on Tumpuna Road South, including Readymix Road, RKR Geomatics Solutions, KPR Pharmacy, Plumbago Avenue, Ladybird Avenue, Warbler Lane, Cicada Avenue, Blackbird Lane, Electrical Industries Limited (EIL), Ansa Technologies, Prestcon 2021 Limited, Penta Paints and all associated side streets.

ARIMA (8:30 AM to 3:30 PM)

  • All customers on Readymix Road, including East Lakes Development and all associated side streets.

MATURA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • All customers from LP #A219 to LP #299 on Toco Main Road, including Orr Trace, Rio Grande Road, Thomas Trace, Matura Health Centre, Church Steet, Matura High School, Toco Road, Mendoza Road, Orosco Road, Matura Earth Satellite Station, Iniss Street, Gray Street, Delaney Street, Spencer Street, Albert Street, Salybia Nature Resort and Spa, Salybia Depot Road, Sayibia Matura Gordon Trace, Langusta Trace and all associated side streets.

LONGDENVILLE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #17 along Fernando Lane, heading North onto Emeralda Road, inclusive of Henry Terrace, Charles Street (from LP #50 heading East to LP #54), Johnathan Trace (from LP #46 heading East to LP #A10) and all associated side streets.

COUVA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #3/1 heading West onto Railway Road, then North onto Marshall Road up to LP #66S, then East along Rivulet Road up to LP #86, inclusive of Factory Road and all associated side streets, and Brechin Castle Sugar Factory.

CAP-DE-VILLE (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • From LP #2020 Chatham Road South, Cap-de-Ville, including Chatham Road South, Road Reserve D, Road Reserve N, Kowlessar Trace, West Road, Road Reserve G, West Access Road, Road Reserve H, Road Reserve J, Road Reserve L, East Access Road, Road Reserve A, Road Reserve C, Road Reserve K, Jengal Trace and all associated side streets.
