Stay well hydrated, wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing, and use sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat or other sun protection, particularly during the hottest part of the day. Those spending time outdoors in Western Trinidad should be prepared for a few showers and keep an umbrella or rain gear handy, while everyone should remain alert for the low possibility of an isolated thunderstorm.
