P.M. Rowley To Host Press Conference At 2:30 PM On Friday From Tobago

UPDATE: You can watch the live stream of the Press Conference right here.

The Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) has announced that Prime Minister Keith Rowley will be hosting a Press Conference at 2:30 PM on Friday (3rd January, 2025) at the Office of the Prime Minister, Central Administrative Services, Tobago.

No further details were provided by the OPM. The current State of Emergency and the record-breaking murder toll for 2024 will no doubt be high on the agenda during Friday’s Press Conference.

Prime Minister Rowley and Mrs. Sharon Rowley attended the funeral of the Hon. Lisa Morris-Julian, Minister in the Ministry of Education and Member of Parliament for D'Abadie/O'Meara, and her children, Jesiah Julian and Xianne Julian, at the Santa Rosa R.C. Church in Arima today (Thursday 2nd January, 2025).

In his tribute, the Prime Minister said, “Lisa was with us for a short time but during that time she probably would have accomplished much more than many people would have accomplished in a life that was so much longer.” He recognized Mrs. Morris-Julian as “a jewel in the crown of this nation” and said, “She gave without counting the cost, laboured and asked for no reward because she genuinely enjoyed serving people.”
