TTPost: Temporary Suspension of Mail Services To Canada

The Trinidad and Tobago Postal Corporation (TTPost) is advising the public that effective 25th September, 2025, the dispatch of mail to Canada (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) has been temporarily suspended until further notice.

In a Public Notice issued today (Friday 26th September, 2025), TTPost said, “This suspension is due to a national strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), which has resulted in no movement of mail within Canada.”

As a result, TTPost said Canada Post has requested that all international postal operators, including TTPost, temporarily cease the dispatch of mail to Canada.

International items already received as of 25th September, 2025 will be securely stored in Canada by Canada Post until the strike ends.

The Public Notice concluded by saying, “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and encourage customers to contact our Customer Service Department by calling 774-1065, 773-6098, 773-6104, or message us via WhatsApp at 774-0715 or via email at customer.service@ttpost.gov.tt, or visit our website at www.ttpost.net for further information.

Please be guided accordingly.
