TWO (2) Suspects Arrested Shortly After Armed Robbery In Erin
Two (2) suspects are in Police custody following a swift response to an armed robbery that occurred on Monday morning (22nd September 2025), along Anduez Trace, Los Iros Beach Road, Erin.
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), at approximately 8:15 AM, the victim, a 23-year-old farmer of Los Iros Beach Road, reported that while standing near his garden, he was accosted by two (2) armed men. One of the suspects, armed with a firearm, dealt the victim a blow to the face and ordered him to lie on the ground. The second suspect proceeded to search the victim’s parked white Kia K2700.
The suspects fled the scene on foot with the victim’s blue Samsung S10 cellphone, valued at TT $1,500 and TT $200 in cash.
A report was made to the Erin Police Station and Officers from both the Erin and Santa Flora Police Stations responded promptly to the scene.
Intensive searches were conducted in the area, leading to the arrest of two (2) male suspects, ages nineteen (19) and twenty-one (21), both of Los Bajos. The stolen items were recovered during the arrest.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
The TTPS said it “commends the quick action and co-ordination of the responding Officers, and urges citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.”
