Temporary Traffic Disruptions Along Naparima Mayaro Road (30.4 Km Mark) Until 7th November, 2025

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure is advising the public that there will be temporary traffic disruptions along the Naparima Mayaro Road, between Align Plus Service Centre and Nohar Road, Robert Village, Tableland. These works are scheduled to be executed from today (Thursday 30th October, 2025) to Friday 7th November, 2025. This has become necessary to facilitate road rehabilitation works.

Hours of Work: 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM

The Ministry notes that traffic will be halted intermittently during the exercise. Therefore, motorists can utilize alternative routes to avoid delays due to anticipated traffic congestion.

Considering the above, motorists are advised to comply with the following:

  • Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
  • Comply with instructions from Police Officers on-site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.
  • Drive with caution on all uneven surfaces.
  • Drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.

Members of the public are reminded that there will be frequent movement of heavy equipment along the roadway which may result in dust, noise, and restrictions to traffic flow.
