2 Killed In 4-Vehicle Smash-Up Along ‘Deadly Stretch’ In McBean, Couva

Two (2) men are dead following a horrific 4-vehicle road traffic accident in McBean, Couva, last night (Monday 29th December, 2025). The deceased have been identified as Keron Prime, a Prison Officer, and Darren Lewis, the owner of Spot On Car Wash.

According to reports, four (4) vehicles were involved in a collision along a stretch of road on the Southern Main Road, McBean, known as the “deadly stretch.”

Police, Fire and Emergency Health Services were notified and responded to the scene. However, despite their efforts, both victims succumbed to their extensive injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the fatal collision are unknown at this time.

Relatives of both men gathered near the scene and were seen sobbing uncontrollably.

Investigations are continuing.
