33-Year-Old Man Shot Dead In Marabella — Police Investigating
A man is dead following a shooting incident in Marabella on Monday morning (22nd December, 2025), leaving his relatives and friends in mourning. The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Kreston Phillips, who was unemployed and had addresses at Battoo Boulevard and Union Road, both in Marabella.
According to reports, residents along Manohar Street heard several loud explosions, around 8:00 AM, followed by the sound of a speeding vehicle fleeing the area.
Police were alerted and upon arrival, Officers from the Southern Division Task Force found Phillips lying on his back along the road with several gunshot wounds. He was alive but barely breathing. Officers attempted to speak with him, but he appeared to be unconscious.
Phillips was conveyed to the San Fernando General Hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
Crime scene investigators recovered several spent shells.
No arrests have been made so far.
Investigations are continuing by Officers of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI) Region III.
